I love Christmas.
Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve felt that this must truly be the most wonderful time of the year. I loved the music, the lights, and the hot cocoa.
And then I had my first baby. They handed that little pink bundle to me just four days before Christmas, and I knew, I just knew that status quo would not be good enough. Not with anything, but especially not with Christmas. I want our lives to speak of our love for Christ all year long, and most definitely at Christmas.
Every year, we re-evaluate, making changes and tweaking things to make them work for our family. That’s one reason why I teamed up with four other bloggers to put together this fabulous week-long series, “C” is for Christ(mas): Keeping Christ at the Center.
In our series, you’ll hear from moms, real life moms who juggle the mess and diapers and even homeschooling, but want to keep our hearts focused on our Savior’s birth. Here’s a glimpse of the week ahead.
Tuesday: Keri at Growing in His Glory is sharing How to Use Truth in the Tinsel with Little Children.
Thursday: I will discuss several ideas for Focusing on the Nativity.
Friday: Jillian at Olive Plants & Cornerstones will discuss decorating with a Christ-centered focus.
And also on Friday, we will host a Christmas-themed link up!! If you have a blog, you’ve got to join the fun! If you don’t have a blog, then come back to see all the fabulous ideas that will be shared.
I hope this series is just what you need to draw near to Christ at Christmas!
