One of the biggest challenges for me since becoming a mom has been making time to spend with God on a daily basis. It was a little difficult for me with the birth of my first baby, a little more difficult when my second baby was born, and then it has felt impossible on some days since I had my third baby. This year, one of my goals is to become more disciplined in my time in the Word.
If you’ve wanted to spend time with God but you’re not sure how to fit it into your day, then I just might have a solution for you.
It’s called Cravings, by Carey C. Bailey. Carey has created a sweet little devotional that is designed to create a hunger for the Word of God in our lives.
Her e-book contains 40 days of short devotional cards that will whet your appetite. Think of it as the tiniest of appetizers. They won’t satisfy your hunger for the Word. Oh no. Instead, they will give you a desire to spend more time talking with God throughout the day and focusing on the godly wife and mama He wants you to be.
Each card contains a word or concept to focus on for that day, scripture, a brief discussion on the struggles that we all deal with, and then a simple application point. She is selling these devotional cards for $3.99 on her website and all of the money will help fund her mission trip to Uganda, a trip she is taking with my friend, Melissa. I’ve been reading Carey’s devotional cards and enjoying them and I think you would too. They’re perfect for moms in this stage of life–in any stage of life.
Carey has graciously offered to giveaway ten copies of Cravings, the Devotional. All you have to do is enter the giveaway below!
