Are you planning a trip to Disney anytime soon?
We are. My husband and I are preparing to run the Disney Half Marathon in January of 2015. The kids don’t know it yet, but that means (of course!) that we’re taking them to Disney World!
It’s summer and my facebook feed is flooded with everything Disney, as friends of ours are spending time with Mickey. As we plan our own trip, I’m thinking about what it was like last time, when we brought our 4 year old, 1 year old, and 5 month old baby with us. It was crazy–crazy fun.
Strollers were the first part of the equation that I needed to solve. Three kids, three strollers, but two parents? Not going to work! I knew I needed to use a double stroller, but should I rent one or bring my own? You can find out what I did by reading here. And I’ll do it again next time too!
Disney with Little Ones
I thought my mom was crazy when she first suggested that we go to Disney World with our five month old, but you know what? I’m so glad we did. He had a blast! So what’s it like with a baby? A toddler? A preschooler? Find out about their favorite moments in those posts.
Everyone has conflicting advice on whether or not you should go back to the hotel for a nap. Here’s what we did, and I think we’ll do it again next time.
Some restaurants are awesome and some leave a little something to be desired. I rated the ones we ate at here so that you can see where to go and where to avoid.
Want to know how to pack smart for the trip? How to skip the crazy expensive autograph books but still end up with a great family keepsake? Or how I prepped my littles ahead of time so that no one would freak out when they met Mickey Mouse? Then this is the post for you.
I also came up with a fun way to remember all the cute things the kids said as they reacted to being in what everyone calls “The Happiest Place on Earth.”
The New Fantasyland
The New Fantasyland expansion is the biggest expansion in the history of Walt Disney World. Everything about it was fabulous, and I shared our experiences (including pictures of Gaston’s Tavern!) here.
