Let’s play a little game, shall we? It’s a bit of a riddle. (Not quite as puzzling as Sylvia Plath’s Metaphors, but the subject is similar).
All I want to do is sleep.
And eat. Except that nothing tastes right. In fact, sometimes I hate food. Yet I’m hungry. All. the. time.
My house is a wreck because I’m exhausted all the time.
Did you guess it yet?
I get to do this again!
That’s right, I’m pregnant! Baby #4 will be here in November!
I’m 9 weeks and ready to be done with this first trimester.
It looks like all of our prayers are answered because we get to have a new sweet little one.
Stay tuned for more details. And more talk about babies. And c-sections. April is cesarean awareness month, and this baby means I will have my fourth c-section. My doctors have always encouraged me not to let my method of birth limit our family size, and while I hate c-sections, I love the baby it brings. I always try to make the most of it.
We’ll talk about that a bit more later this month. In the meantime, I need a nap. Or I need to clean this house. I’m finally starting to have a little more energy for homemaking.
Thanks for celebrating with me!
